Scotland’s Most Scenic Trip, Travel The Highlands
Few months ago I’ve done one of the most amazing trips in the largest region in Scotland. The region that is home to sensational scenery, including the iconic Loch Ness. Welcome to the Scotland’s Highlands.
Welcome to the Highlands. Our trip was in October when we were allowed to travel. We flew to Scotland and then started a road trip in the Highlands. We visited mainly 5 areas: Inverness, Glenfinnan, Fort William, Kyle and Isle of Skye.
Inverness. This was our base.
Glenfinnan. This is the place that became even more popular due to Harry Potter’s films.
Fort William. Site of the Old Fort and a great spot over before heading to Ben Nevis, the largest peak in the UK.
Kyle. Great place to see the the Donan Castle and the 3 lakes: Duich, Long and Alsh.
Isle of Skye. A place known for its stunning landscapes, villages and castles. It’s hard to mention every place we visited as we drove a lot here but some stunning areas: The Storr, The Quiraing, Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls, Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery, Neist Point Lighthouse and Dunvegan Castle.
In fact, I’ve just made a video so you can uncover more details and some interesting travel stories in the Scotland’s Highlands:
