The Perfect Minimalist Travel Tool
For the last 5 years I’ve been looking for the perfect minimalist travel accessory to improve selfies, vlogging, casual photography and so on. I’ve just found it. Let’s talk about it.
This will be a short article as I want to keep it in line with the theme. But I’m wondering how much stuff do you take for your trips?
I bought selfie sticks in the past, few tripods that I needed but ended up replacing over time and implemented other short term solutions.
Unfortunately, nothing really worked well.
I’ve recently found something that works with any camera, from a phone to a DSLR. This simplifies a lot the video making process and I can switch between modes in seconds.
I’ve also realised that Peter McKinnon loves this tripod and as creator, I can see why.
The design principles are just 3: stronger, fast and slimmer.
Stronger: designed to last and support heavy-weighted rigs.
Faster: setup is super easy and ready to film straight away.
Slimmer: fantastic way of packing and carrying around.
I’m curious if you also struggled with these things in the past?
This little tripod is light, compact and quite solid. I take it to every single trip and it’s just fantastic. I’ve taken it recently to Scotland, Estonia, Germany and plenty of other places within the UK. This is the perfect minimalist travel tripod.
I’m looking forward to taking it to the limits in 2021 and hopefully can provide some feedback!
In fact, in cases like this, it’s better to speak less and show more. So, I’ve just made a short video so we can unbox it together:
