As you might remember, one of my challenges for this year was to meditate 15 minutes every day for 30 days. However, I found some key benefits so I thought I should extend it and explore it further. Let’s talk about my 100 days.
New Year started and I decided to get my 10 projects in writing. Guess what, one of these ones was about mindfulness. Therefore, I meditated 15 minutes every day during January. This is what happened.
We all agree it was a challenging year due to the global pandemic. But I truly like to see the positive side of things and I have 4 moments that changed my year and want to share these life lessons with you.
So, you think meditation is for the weak people and you don’t need it. You also think there are no benefits and it’s a waste of time. And you might finally think it’s a marketing tool. Alright, let’s talk about it.
Earlier this year I defined my objectives and then I checked in to see how I was doing. This is my third quarterly review to see if I’m on track or I keep procrastinating.
For those in the corporate world this will sound familiar. Time for the Mid-Year review! Three months ago, I released an article about my 2020 objectives progress. Today I’d like to review where I am. Am I a doer or a sayer?
I’ve had issues to sleep for years. Perhaps a bad habit from childhood to stay till late in combination with other things such as caffeine, late sugar intake or simply some anxiety. Problem solved.
I’ve been a big coffee fan for many years. In reasonable doses like everything in life is not bad. But I was not doing any reasonable doses. So, I thought one day I’d be brave enough to give up coffee for a while. Patience is a form of wisdom. The day has come.
I know there’s a lot going on with Covid-19 but I thought it was important to check in and reconnect with my resolution for this year. These are unprecedented times for everyone but this should not be an excuse to skip what we promised to ourselves 3 months ago.
If you had told somebody last year you were regularly working from home, they would have thought: “right, another lazy guy”. Now no one is thinking or saying that. Covid-19 has changed the world forever.
